SPECIAL SALONE DEL MOBILE 2016
Square table is a small table and a dynamic container with minimal and essential shapes born by a great craftsmanship.
The Square table is constituted by a square-based parallelepiped in walnut, designed to be positioned in the center of the living room making the four sides functional through the hidden drawers and without handles and/or external supports.
The essential and minimalist design is studied to ensure proper functionality of two drawers with hidden runners with full extension and two side pockets with flap opening directly from the top. All expertly masked when closed through 45 degree cuts and a perfect combination of iron/wooden materials.
A pair of angular plates integrated directly into the container complete and support the top, their mirror finishing creates a special reflective effect of the floor giving the illusion of a light and floating surface.

towerLib
towerLib comes from the personal desire to create a library which imparts a formal language extremely clean, simple but functional.
The supporting structure consists of a tower whose inclination technique is designed to fulfill two main aspects: the functional one, as it satisfies and supports books and thinner volumes tending to lean once placed and the structural one, as main element which balances the entire figure generated by horizontal shelves.
The project target is to seek a formal lightness of structure in iron, enhancing their technical features and at the same time the natural material of the shelves. The degree of inclination of the tower is designed to protect and conserve more subtle texts in an orderly way precluding any falls. The cohesion of the two principal materials iron-wood is generated by a thin joint system, which ensures the correct structural solidity and maintains the aesthetic continuity of interrupted lines from the shelves.
The result of this challenge is therefore a furniture well positioned within the living environment and not with the simple expectation of receiving, preserve and enhance the books and objects of our daily lives.
Technical features
Bookcase with structure in molded metal laser and painted bronze nickel. Shelves in plywood veneered in walnut with crosscuts and water opaque painted. The library is designed to be disassembled to facilitate transportation.

A BRIEF ABOUT US

CONCEPT and
PLANNING
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
A brief defined is the starting point for targeted research aimed at identifying the strengths, competitors and the correct target audience.
Find the right formal meaning, creating a good balance between function and aesthetics and their essence, which is not an alternative.
Development and technical design of each element up to prototyping, combined with the final presentation of the project and its marketing plan.
The imperative is to generate a useful design able to privilege pure formalism, lightweight and essential, where the shape should correspond to its meaning and ensure proper function for which it was conceived. Curiosity, attention to detail and the exclusion of all that is unnecessary is the basis of a constant research aimed at conceiving a by-sign balanced and responsible, fil rouge and elegant design leitmotif that can last in of time.
Design and multiporpose research that goes into different areas such as industrial, ligthing and fashion design up to interior design. Idea, synthesized into concepts and subsequently translated through three-dimensional modelling, study of feasibility axes with photorealistic image generation able to reproduce the final result.
Professional designer and creative passion, class of 1982. Graduated with honours from the Faculty of Design at Libera Accademia di Belle Arti located in Brescia, presenting a thesis on the study of the aesthetic and functional relationship of design applied. In 2012 he opened his own studio research and design. Behind a tenacious work experience in the field, driven by a constant passion for creativity transmitted from an early age by his father Giacomo Tomasoni.
